How WalkAmp handles your information.

Overview

WalkAmp is operated by Sienna Logic LLC. This policy covers the WalkAmp app and the walkamp.com website.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, and sign-in details; subscription and purchase information; team and roster information, including player names, jersey numbers, positions, and photos; team logos and other images you upload; email addresses of people you invite to a team; song selections and clip settings; announcement text, pronunciations, and voice choices; app settings; messages you send us, including through our contact form; device, diagnostic, and crash information; information about how the app and website are used; and device identifiers and in-app events used to measure our own advertising.

You provide most of this information directly. Device, diagnostic, crash, and usage information is collected automatically by the app and website.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure your account, sync your teams and settings, run app features such as music playback and announcements, process subscriptions, send transactional emails and team invitations, respond to support requests, fix problems, and measure and improve our own advertising. We may also send product updates and promotional emails. You can opt out of those at any time by contacting us at support@walkamp.com.

How we share information

We share information with service providers that help us run WalkAmp, including providers for hosting and storage, authentication, subscriptions and billing, email delivery, music services such as Apple Music, analytics, error reporting, and advertising measurement. Spoken announcements and roster import use third-party AI service providers, and the text or images you enter for those features, which may include player names, are sent to them to provide the feature. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the service, and they are required to protect it consistent with this policy.

If you share a team, the people you share it with can see and change that team's information.

We may also disclose information when needed to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect the service or its users, or investigate abuse or fraud. If we sell or transfer our business, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Children

WalkAmp is for adults. Player information is entered by the adult account holder, who is responsible for having permission to provide it. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Data retention and deletion

We keep information while your account is open and as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete your account data, although some information may remain in backups, logs, or storage for a period of time, or where we are required to keep it by law.

Your choices

You can delete your account in the app or on our account deletion page, and you can contact us to access, correct, or delete your information. You can turn off the app's access to your photos, media, and Apple Music in your device settings.

Advertising and analytics

We use an attribution partner to learn which of our ads lead to installs, trials, and subscriptions. The app sends that partner a device identifier and in-app events, such as installing the app, starting a trial, making a purchase, and adding players to a team, and the partner reports them to the ad platforms we use, such as Google.

Our website uses analytics and an advertising tag, which may set cookies and allow those providers to collect information about your visits over time and across websites. You can block cookies in your browser settings. Our website does not respond to Do Not Track signals.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the date above.
